Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho believes Chelsea‘s FIFA Club World Cup win means nothing more than helping the club sell better shirts by featuring the championship crest.
The Blues had a superb performance, thrashing French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain 3-0. But Mourinho believes Luis Enrique’s side remain the best team from last season’s European Championship triumph. And Chelsea’s title win means more than just selling more shirts with the Club World Cup badge.สนใจสมัคร? คลิกที่นี่เพื่อเริ่มต้น
Mourinho told Canal 11
“This Club World Cup we highlighted a kid like Cole Palmer who had a great season with Chelsea,” Mourinho told Canal 11. “But the semi-final reminded me of the pre-season games in the USA. When I was in charge of Real Madrid and Inter, and it reminds me of those games a little bit.”
“So I think this club world title is only important for Chelsea because they will have a lot of shirts with the championship logo on them. I think PSG are the big winners this season. Not because of their domestic performances because they have always won titles. But because of winning the Champions League and how they got there. Especially considering they lost their best players.”
“It reminds me of when I won the title with Inter after losing Ibrahimović to Barcelona. Where we were the winning team. I think PSG were the best team of the season and the Portuguese players (Vitinha, Joao Neves, Nuno Mendes). Goncalo Ramos didn’t play much, although he could have been the decisive player. I love them both very much.”
“The only thing I want to say is that there are still good midfielders and now there are full-backs like that. Of course I would like to see one of them win the (Ballon d’Or) award, but Jorge Mendes would be very angry with me because he thinks only (Lamine) Yamal, his player, should win it!”
